1.1.Detail collection: Collecting details of personal events (birth, death, marriage, divorce, migration) from the concerned person.
1.2. Form filling: Assisting in filling the application form in the format as per the schedule required for event registration.
1.3.Record management: Updating event registration data at the local level (ward office) and maintaining records.
1.4.Assistance in issuing certificates: Providing technical and administrative support to issue certificates through the ward secretary or designated officer after completing the registration process.
2. National ID related activities
2.1.Detail update: Collecting personal and biometric details of the person applying for a national identity card.
2.2.New Registration: Facilitate the registration of missing citizens in the National Identity Information Management System (NIDMIS).
2.3.Correction of details: Assist in obtaining applications with evidence if personal details need to be updated or corrected.
3. Registration Awareness and Facilitation
3.1.Public Awareness: Spread awareness in the community about the importance and necessity of personal incident registration.
3.2.Facilitation: Make it easy for citizens to receive services by informing them about the policies, rules, and procedures related to registration.
3.3Accessibility: Connect remote or illiterate citizens to the registration process.
4. Social Security Program Target Group: Update the details of beneficiaries receiving social security allowances (senior citizens, single women, disabled, child protection grants, etc.). New Registration: Assist in registering new data of the target group.
5. Technical and reporting related tasks
5.1.Digital Record: Enter the incident registration data into the software (Data Entry).
6.Report: Submit the registration data collected weekly, monthly or annually to the branch head or ward office.
In short, Local Registration Facilitators act as a bridge between citizens and the Ward Office/Registration Department, streamlining personal incident registration and national identity card services.
