Bhim Kumar Newar

My work places migrant workers' voices at the centre on migration and development. I serve as a voice advocating for dignity and fairness for millions of Nepalese migrant workers, most of whom are low-income migrant workers in Gulf countries and Malaysia. I myself a migrant worker with first hand lived experience. I'm an honest, enthusiastic, hardworking and highly motivated individual with excellent communication skills, who aspire to gain an in-depth understanding of broader development perspectives, both locally and globally through participation, activism and activation to prepare me as a competent leader.
