  • Review of e-Health Strategy and Implementation Roadmap in association with WHO Country office Nepal based upon BSC-SELF Framework composite of Balanced Scorecard, Strategy, Enterprise Architecture, Legal and Regulatory Framework, and Financing framework to develop recommendations for interventions that the Government of Nepal needs to make to ensure that the country can harness the benefits of disruptive technologies such as AI, IoT, Big Data, Block Chain etc, by reviewing constitution, 15th five year plan, Health Sectoral Strategic plan, WHO recommended Digital Health resolution, 2018 and strategy 2020-2024, WHO interoperability resolution, Department of IT led Government Enterprise Architecture 2.0, necessary enabling policies, regulations, standards and underlying ICT infrastructure environment, for deployment of Artificial Intelligence in social security and health insurance claim processing
  • During the review, a baseline survey of Nepal’s current policies, regulations, standards, human resources, stakeholders and underlying ICT infrastructure for Artificial Intelligence technology and services, governance, investment scenario, infrastructure at various health facilities, EMR/HER/PHR, telemedicine, administrative and billing software at facility client side, DHIS2 integration, interoperability with National Health Facility Registry, Logistics Management Information System, Community Health Information System, e-maternal solutions and various industry led applications
