Highly proficient in English writing and communications, having done basic schooling and undergraduate studies at a liberal arts college in USA. I have published articles in national dailies (Setopati and MyRepublica) in Nepal raising awareness on mental health. I have also featured in several talks, webinars, and podcasts as a mental health and motivational speaker both nationally and internationally, most notably Drona Wellness, Josh Talks, Yo Nepali Life, Care Craft Nations Nepal, and Maaya Foundation. Having battled with mental illnesses and been a paraplegic suicide-attempt survivor for the last 6 and half years, life has taught me a lot about facing and overcoming adversities and challenges. It has also made me a very empathetic and compassionate person, while also having gratitude towards still being alive and getting to experience life each day. All these experiences has led me to better express my voice through my writing and speaking and have a positive influence on others.
Co-founded Paaila, a peer-to-peer mental health support group, with the mission to give support and encouragement to people who are suffering mentally.
